Hello 2018!

It’s 2018, and this is the first post of the year! The start of a new year is always exciting to me because I can’t wait to see all that it holds. Last year I set a goal of wanting to travel somewhere I’ve never been before, and that goal was met. This year I really want to continue that goal, and just continue to do and see new things. I also want to continue to learn and write more. I’m also so excited for all the new albums that will be coming out this year! I currently have two albums on preorder, and I can’t wait for them to come out so that I can listen to them over and over.

I’ve spent the first few days of 2018 listening to The Greatest Showman on repeat. I’m so obsessed with it! If you haven’t checked it out already then you should most definitely go give it a listen. Not only is it a soundtrack to an amazing movie, but it also has some truly amazing anthems on it. The song “This is Me” is such a powerful song that it seems so many can relate to. The movie was just as amazing as the soundtrack. The cast was truly amazing, and it has most definitely been added to my favorite movies list.

As said earlier, I have already preordered 2 albums for this year, and one comes out in 14 days. So in 14 days I will be jamming the album Nearsighted  by Speak Low if You Speak Love. It’s an album I’m really looking forward to, and if you’re needing some new music to check out then I highly recommend you giving it a listen as well. If you’ve never heard of SLIYSL then you should also give his first album a listen because it’s pretty great.

Overall as I’ve already said, I’m really looking forward to this year and all that it brings. I also can’t wait to be able to celebrate the blogs 1 year anniversary in just a couple of months! I feel 2018 will be filled with some really great memories, and I’m so excited for it all! I wish you all the best for this year, and I hope you’ll all continue to follow this blog along! What’s something you’re most excited about for this year? Any new music, trips, movies, or books? I’d love to hear all about it!
